  • Conducted extensive market research to identify and define target markets. Defined the research approach and studies, recruited candidates, interviewed participants and developed strategies based on findings.
  • Established product market fit to the core target markets, marketing messaging and positioning, and developed scalable marketing funnels using earned and paid media.
  • Conceived of and executed an Incubator Program that was critical to demonstrating product market fit for the company.
    • In less than 10 days, delivered 112 leads for the program, which converted to 21 qualified applicants.

Volio – Video Bot Platform
VP of Business Development (06/2012 to 01/2014)

  • Created a launch partnership program with Esquire magazine that was featured in digital and print editions. Pitched and negotiated the deal, created the technology integration strategy, collaborated to create the content, media planning and oversaw execution from start to finish.
  • Parlayed partnership with Esquire magazine to publishing and editorial opportunities with additional Hearst magazines, Ogilvy & Mather, USAA, Mondelez and MetLife.
  • Worked with agencies, publishers and ad sales groups to create and pitch new ad unit formats using Volio to advertisers. Includes developing creative concepts that reflected the brand brief while highlighting the features of the platform to drive engaging customer experiences.

  • Pitched and won new business within existing accounts and new targets to grow between 30% and 40% YoY (6 consecutive years).
  • Oversaw the growth and success of the San Jose studio, increasing the team from 3 to 55 employees and owned P&L responsibility. Led the team of 55 client services, creative, technology, and strategy professionals to deliver client solutions.

  • 2010: LEVEL Studios acquired by Rosetta Marketing
  • 2011: Rosetta Marketing acquired by Publicis Groupe ($575M)
